Dallas Industries delivers feed line to Orick Stamping

Dallas Industries, Troy, Mich., a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, has delivered a feed line to Orick Stamping in Elida, Ohio.

The feed line employs the Dallas LoopSelect compact coil line concept, which allows for two material loops based on material thickness. For lighter-gauge materials, a front loop is developed between the reel and feeder/straightener. For heavier-gauge materials, a back or paddle loop is developed below the mandrel. SyncLoop technology monitors the coil OD and loop depths and adjusts payout speeds based on the line speed average, coil OD, and loop depth.

The compact line includes a servo feed with a piloting pull-through straightener that enables both the upper feed and straightener rolls to lift off the material momentarily for proper pilot registration.
