Ermaksan installs hybrid press brake in Alabama

Ermaksan has installed another EVO-3 series hybrid 10-ft. by 150-ton press brake in Huntsville, Ala., the eighth hybrid machine installed this year.

The press brake features the second-generation Hoerbiger ePRAX closed-circuit, open-loop hybrid hydraulic system. The machine is up to 70 percent energy-efficient, according to the company. It requires 11 gal. of hydraulic oil, as compared to standard press brakes, which require 80 gal.
