Koester Metals installs press brake with mobile bending cell at Indiana facility

Koester Metals Inc., Fremont, Ind., has installed what it says is one of the first Bystronic Xpert 40 press brakes with a mobile bending cell in the U.S.

With the removable bending cell, the machine allows the company to fabricate some parts with a robot and some with an operator. The firm reports this has added to its capacity, part accuracy, and flexibility.
