Komatsu and Dieology to host four-part webinar on stamping difficult materials

Komatsu will offer a four-part webinar series, “Adapting to Today’s Stamping Needs,” Aug. 3-4 and Aug. 10-11. Presented by Dieology’s Art Hedrick, a journeyman tool- and diemaker with more than 40 years of metalworking experience and regular columnist for STAMPING Journal, the webinar is designed to provide metal stampers with the tools and knowledge they need to stamp today’s increasingly difficult materials.

Each session will run from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. CT. Agenda topics are:

• Session 1 (Aug. 3): Materials Old/New – The impact that sheet metal has on process
• Session 2 (Aug. 4): Should I change my application process? Can servo technology help?
• Session 3 (Aug. 10): Determine your press parameters/selections
• Session 4 (Aug. 11): Die setup procedures and keeping a press in good working order
