Master Fluid Solutions marks 70 years in business

Master Fluid Solutions, Perrysburg, Ohio, is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Clyde A. Sluhan founded the company in Toledo, Ohio, in 1951 to produce and sell the TRIM cutting fluid he developed. In 1971 MFS introduced the Xybex coolant recycling system, and this type of process has since become industry-standard, according to the company.

Today MFS develops and markets cutting and grinding fluids; straight oils; parts cleaners; and fluids for pipe and tube expansion, forming, and corrosion control. The global company has offices and production sites in three continents.
