Metalsa to add 300 jobs in Kentucky

Metalsa, a Mexico-based manufacturer of vehicle frames for light- and heavyweight trucks, is adding 300 jobs at its Elizabethtown, Ky., facility immediately to meet increased demand.

All positions are full-time, permanent openings for entry-level production technician. In addition, the company is hiring for skilled trades positions including maintenance and tooling, as well as salaried positions in operations, quality assurance, and engineering.

The plant, which currently employs 900 permanent and contract employees, houses stamping, assembly, welding, and painting operations.
