Stack Metallurgical Group adds Quintus hot isostatic press
Portland, Ore.-based Stack Metallurgical Group, a provider of heat treating and metal processing services to quality-critical industries, has installed a hot isostatic press from Quintus Technologies at its facility in Albany, Ore.
The model QIH 122 M URC® features a work zone of 26 in. dia. and 68.9 in. high. It processes a variety of materials and lot sizes and is suitable for moderately sized components.
The company also has a QIH286 M URC® model with a work zone of 63 in. dia. and 102 in. high for processing larger castings and powder metal components.
