Magnode to expand in Ohio

Shape Corp., a Tier 1 automotive supplier based in Grand Haven, Mich., has announced plans to expand its aluminum division, Magnode LLC, with a new facility in Trenton, Ohio. This $41 million expansion—fueled by growth in the automotive market, particularly in electric vehicle sales—is expected to create 171 jobs.

The 320,000-sq.-ft. facility will include manufacturing, inspection, and testing, focused primarily on Shape’s aluminum extrusion and postextrusion business. It is scheduled for completion in 2022, with the full expansion to be finished in 2025.
