Acme Mfg. opens second manufacturing facility in Michigan

Acme Mfg. Co., a manufacturer of integrated centerless and robotic belt grinding systems and automated polishing, buffing, deburring, and grinding systems, has added a second manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Mich.

The 45,000-sq.-ft. building will accommodate additional manufacturing capacity for the company’s anticipated 60 percent increase in export business. The firm will increase staff by 30 percent, adding engineers, robot technicians, machine builders, electricians, and project managers.
