Apex, N.C.-based ATI Industrial Automation and 3M will present a free webinar, “Three Pillars of Successful Material Removal,” on May 14, 2020, at 12:00 ET. The event, hosted by the Robotics Industries Association, will identify key concepts for successful robotic material removal.

Presentations by ATI’s Material Removal Product Manager Dan Merritt and 3M Global Applications Engineer Sarah Mullins will highlight real-world examples of the benefits of robotic material removal and illustrate how common challenges are overcome with the right application design. The webinar will demonstrate how having a comprehensive understanding of their process can help manufacturers choose the best equipment and abrasives for the job.

In addition to best practices for robotic material removal, the webinar also will touch on advancements in robotic tooling and abrasives technology. Among these advancements is a diverse selection of new material removal and passive compliance offerings from ATI that serve a variety of deburring, grinding, filing, and flash removal operations.
