CCAI partners with Workshops for Warriors on Finishing for Warriors program

The Chemical Coaters Association Intl. (CCAI), Taylor Mill, Ky., has agreed to develop an industrial finishing certificate program for Workshops for Warriors students. The program, Finishing for Warriors, is scheduled to launch in 2019.

Finishing for Warriors will give veterans, wounded warriors and transitioning service members the opportunity to participate in quality training and receive a certificate to prepare them for a career in industrial finishing at a variety of levels. The CCAI-developed curriculum will include certificate programs for liquid coating, powder coating, master liquid coating, master powder coating, and master finishing. The programs, held at the Workshops for Warriors facility in San Diego, run four to 16 weeks and include classroom and hands-on learning. CCAI will provide training materials to students at no cost, secure donations and installation of equipment for hands-on training, and identify qualified personnel to teach the curriculum.
