Lissmac to build new headquarters in New York

Germany-based machine manufacturer Lissmac has begun construction of its new U.S. headquarters in Mechanicville, N.Y., which will serve the U.S., Canada, and South America. The headquarters with warehouse and production space previously was located in Waterford, N.Y.

The new, 16,000-sq.-ft. U.S. headquarters will house parts and machinery stock, service and parts sales departments, offices, and assembly facilities.

A second phase has been built into the construction plans to allow the company to double its space as needed in the future.
