Material Sciences acquires Alum-A-Fold Pacific

Material Sciences Corp., Canton, Mich., has announced the acquisition of Alum-A-Fold Pacific Inc. The Los Angeles-area company produces specialty coated metals engineered to address aesthetic, architectural, and corrosion needs for such end markets as building products, packaging, and consumer goods.

Material Sciences Corp. produces materials and specialty coated metals designed to meet requirements for lightweighting; noise, vibration, and harshness; corrosion; and aesthetics.

With production facilities in Elk Grove Village, Ill.; East Chicago, Ind.; Walbridge and Canfield, Ohio; City of Industry, Calif.; and Toronto, the company serves the transportation, building products, packaging, and consumer goods end markets.
