PCI, Gema name 2017 scholarship winners

PCI Executive Director Trena Benson, along with Gema USA General Manager Chris Merritt and PCI Future of Technology Subcommittee Chair Kevin Biller, present the scholarship awards to Gabriella Bettegnies and Luke Groninger.

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) and Gema USA Inc., A Graco Inc. Company, have named the winners of two $2,500 scholarships:

These scholarships are awarded with special consideration to deserving students that demonstrate an interest in powder coatings and are pursuing disciplines aligned with a career in manufacturing or mechanical or electrical engineering.

According to PCI, Bettegnies and Groninger stood out from all the applicants because of their hands-on, practical engagement in powder coatings, as well as their excellent academic performance.
