Walther Trowal opens North American Tech & Training Centre
Germany-based Walther Trowal has opened its North American Tech & Training Centre in Grand Rapids, Mich. It offers mass finishing, deburring, polishing, shotblasting, and coating services.
The location encompasses the new tech center, as well as sales; after-sales service; and a warehouse for compounds, media, and spare parts. The company recently hired two application and sales engineers at the facility to support the company’s nine distributors in the U.S. and Mexico.
At the new process development lab and coating technology lab, customers can test the manufacturer’s finishing and coating equipment using their own workpieces.
