Xometry launches Xometry Finishing Service

Xometry, an online marketplace for custom manufacturing, has launched the Xometry Finishing Service, an online platform where customers can source postprocessing work for custom parts that have already been manufactured.

The service allows customers to send RFQs seamlessly to Xometry’s postprocessing manufacturing partners, receive and evaluate quotes, and manage orders in one location. Customers also can invite their approved vendors to join the network to help streamline the process further.

Customers can receive quotes from suppliers for such finishing services as Type II and Type III anodizing, chem film, heat treatment, conversion and pretreatments, mechanical finishing, adhesives and coatings, metal plating, painting and marking, and military spec coatings.
