AT&F upgrades laser to 10-kW fiber optic

AT&F has installed a 5-axis, 10-kW fiber-optic laser machine at its Cleveland facility. Featuring a cutting envelope of 10 ft. wide by 60 ft. long, the machine is equipped with a shuttle table system for continuous production around the clock.

The company provides custom and high-volume steel fabrication services to industries including construction crane, rail, defense, mining, bridge, transportation, and marine. The machine increases the firm’s capacity as demand grows for high-volume part profiling, weld prep beveling, and laser-etched part marking.
