TAB Industries increases laser cutting capacity by 65% with 6,000-W machine

Metalworking manufacturer TAB Industries LLC, Reading, Pa., has purchased a Songu 6,000-W Fly 3015 fiber laser cutting machine. Replacing a 3,000-W machine, the new system increases overall in-house laser cutting capacity by 65% on the same footprint.

The laser cutting machine, installed at the company’s 44,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing center, features an exchanging shuttle table, companion fume extractor, and remote monitoring and operation for 24/7 production management.
