SPI Lasers to host webinar on nanosecond pulsed laser welding

On May 15 at 3:00 p.m. GMT, U.K.-based SPI Lasers LLC will present a webinar on nanosecond pulsed laser welding for joining thin-section, similar and dissimilar metals.

Presented by Dr. Mike Poulter, SPI product manager, the webinar will provide insight into laser sources, the joining process, and comparisons to conventional welding processes. Poulter has 20 years of experience in the research, development, and application of industrial lasers. He holds a degree in applied physics and is a Doctor of Engineering in photonics, specializing in the design of solid-state lasers for material processing.
