Machining Concepts, a provider of medium- to small-part precision machining in Germantown, Wis., has been certified to AS9100 Rev D, a quality management system standard for the aerospace, space, and defense industries. Based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, it covers the manufacture of precision-machined components.

To earn certification, the company underwent a rigorous audit process that included a review of its quality management system, processes, and procedures by an independent third-party certification body.
