Murata Machinery USA appoints West Coast sales manager

Murata Machinery USA, Charlotte, N.C., has hired Jerry McCarty as West Coast sales manager based in Southern California.

After earning his MBA from Woodbury University, McCarty served in key roles for Fadal Eng., including vice president of worldwide sales. Most recently he worked as COO for SMTCL.

Murata Machinery USA Inc., a subsidiary of Murata Machinery Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, comprises four divisions: Machine Tools, made up of Turning and Fabrication business units; Logistics and Automation; Clean Factory Automation; and Textiles. From its headquarters in Charlotte, Murata Machinery USA Inc.’s Turning business unit supplies CNC turning centers under the Muratec brand.
