Precision Metalforming Association adds 26 courses to Metalform EDU training platform

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), Cleveland, has added new courses to its online training platform, Metalform EDU, designed to familiarize and attract incumbent workers to the metal forming industry. These introductory courses are centered on four competency categories: project management, metalworking processes, machining, and metal cutting.

PMA subject matter experts partnered with 180 Skills to develop the courses, which will be part of a new metalworking career path within the 180 Skills catalog. Since 2009 180 Skills has been working with manufacturers and educators to create an extensive library of skills training for the manufacturing sector.

PMA and 180 Skills are developing courses in die protection and safety, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0, which will be released later this year.
