Pulse Systems expands CNC machining capabilities and facilities

Pulse Systems, Concord, Calif., a provider of precision machining of metal components for the medical device industry, has acquired additional CNC machine tools and expanded its facilities space.

The new equipment includes a second Tsugami LaserSwiss machine—which combines laser cutting with turning and milling capabilities—as well as several conventional Star Swiss screw machines. To house this additional equipment and business activities, the company has added 7,000 sq. ft. to its headquarters.

The firm offers precision laser machining of tubular and flat metal components and value-added services such as laser welding, CNC screw machining, Nitinol shape-setting and electropolishing, and Class 10,000 clean room assembly.
