Robinson Metal adds bridge mill

Robinson Metal Inc. has added an SNK RB-5M bridge mill to its facility in DePere, Wis. The five-speed, multicenter machine increases the company's part production capacity.

"The [machine] enhances our efficiency by combining a large work envelope with right-angle head, resulting in reduced setups for high-precision, high-output machining," said Jamie Tilkens, manager of Robinson’s Fabrication & Machine division. "Its automatic tool changer comes with 60-tool storage capacity and can be used in both vertical spindle and angular attachment settings."

The bridge mill will be operational in early fall.
