Smyth County Machine announces $2.1 million expansion in Virginia

Machining and fabrication company Smyth County Machine LLC has announced plans to invest $2.1 million to add equipment and expand its product line in Atkins, Va. The expansion is expected to create 35 jobs.

Previously operating as Smyth County Machine and Welding Inc., the company supplies products for the automotive, environmental, defense, mining, medical, and imaging industries.
