Trace-A-Matic increases machining size and capacity at Houston location

Trace-A-Matic Corp., a producer of precision-machined CNC components and assemblies for the aerospace, defense, food processing, heavy equipment, medical equipment, oil and gas, power generation, transportation, and general industry markets, has installed a new Smart SW-316 CNC vertical machining center at its Houston location.

The center features a 35-HP, 6,000-RPM spindle with a large machining area of 122 by 63 by 31 in. This addition more than doubles the facility’s current VMC machining envelope.
