Combilift breaks ground on $45 million manufacturing facility

Material handling equipment manufacturer Combilift has broken ground on a new $45 million, 495,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility and global headquarters in Monaghan, Ireland. The multifunction facility will include a dedicated R&D building, testing area, and adjoining administration offices.

During the 18-month construction period, 200 people will be employed. Another 200 jobs are set to be created in the next five years, mainly for skilled technicians and design engineers.
