Eriez names new president/CEO

Jaisen Kohmuench

Eriez, a provider of separation technologies in Erie, Pa., has appointed Jaisen Kohmuench as president/CEO. He succeeds current President/CEO Lukas Guenthardt, who is retiring at the end of 2023.

With more than two decades of service to the company, Kohmuench most recently served as COO. He began his career at the company as a process engineer and later directed and expanded the U.S. Flotation group. He assumed an expatriate position as managing director for Eriez-Australia before returning to the U.S. as vice president - international.

An inventor with more than a dozen patents, Kohmuench holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in mining and minerals engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
