Yale Materials Handling named to list of top 75 green supply chain partners

Yale Materials Handling Corp., Greenville, N.C., a manufacturer of lift trucks and hand trucks, has been named to the Inbound Logistics annual list of top 75 green supply chain partners for the seventh consecutive year.

The alternative-power technology offered by the company includes the first commercially available UL-recognized lithium-ion battery pack in the lift truck industry, which the manufacturer says lasts twice as long as traditional lead acid batteries. The company also offers lift trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which produce zero harmful emissions.
