Alro Steel purchases building, plans expansion

Alro Steel, a distributor of metals, industrial supplies, and engineering plastics, has announced the purchase and expansion of a new facility in Milwaukee. The location is 108,000 sq. ft., with an addition of 96,000 sq. ft. to be completed in late 2020. Upon completion, the 204,000-sq.-ft. facility will have updated offices, expanded inventory, and additional processing capabilities.

The company’s facility in Wauwatosa, Wis., will be moved to the new Milwaukee facility once construction is completed.
