American Construction Metals to open plant in Kansas

American Construction Metals, a provider of exterior metal building products, has announced it will open a 120,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing and distribution plant in Shawnee, Kan. The firm plans to hire 15 people initially and expects to employ 100 people by 2023.

The plant will produce steel and aluminum exterior building products including roofing accessories, gutter and rainware accessories, trim coil, and siding and soffit accessories. The company also has manufacturing and distribution facilities in Wisconsin, Florida, Texas, and California.
