Arconic to sell Texas rolling mill

Metal manufacturer Arconic has announced plans to sell its rolling mill in Nash, Texas, to Ta Chen Intl. The facility produces aluminum sheet and plate products for the aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, and industrial markets. The transaction is scheduled to close by the end of 2018.

Following the sale, production is expected to increase, with employment growing from the current 90 people to about 350.
