Automatic Feed receives leveler order from Canadian metal service center

Automatic Feed Co., Napoleon, Ohio, has received an order for an eXtra Large Capacity (XLC) leveler from a large southern Ontario service center and coil processor serving the automotive markets. Capable of handling coil widths of 84 in., the leveler will be integrated with customer-owned equipment in the summer of 2023.

Designed to accommodate a variety of material strengths and thicknesses using different cassettes, the leveler will include two cassettes, each with different work roll diameters. This system also comes with an automatic dual-cassette change table, which holds up to two cassettes for changeout in less than four minutes, the company states.

An independent cassette-style pinch roll is located at the exit end of the leveler. It comprises two full-width chromed rolls in a modular assembly for rapid cassette replacement.
