Braidy Industries, Veloxint announce five executive appointments

Braidy Industries Inc., an Ashland, Ky.-based manufacturer of metals for the global transportation and defense industries, and its subsidiary Veloxint have announced the appointment of five new key executives. The news follows the official groundbreaking on the $1.6 Braidy Atlas rolling mill project.

Julio Ramirez has been named CFO of Braidy. He has experience as a founder, CEO, and CFO for a number of diverse Fortune 500 companies.

Veloxint has appointed four executives. Major General Kevin McNeely (Ret.) has been named COO. He has more than two decades of experience in government, personnel management, and policy and process development, as well as 38 years of military service. Dr. Phoebe Kwan assumes the role of chief commercial officer, bringing expertise in strategic positioning and development of high-performance materials across a range of industries.

Dr. Judson “Jud” Marte has been named vice president of product development. He formerly served as principal scientist and product manager for two decades at GE Global Research. And John Gaspervich joins the company as executive vice president of manufacturing. He has 30 years of experience in the metal injection molding industry and is an expert in MIM parts production and market applications.
