Braner receives order from Magic Coil for slitting line

Braner USA Inc., Schiller Park, Ill., has received an order from Magic Coil Products, Butler, Ind., for a Braner/Loopco Turret Head™ slitting line equipped with in-line shape-correction leveling. The line will have the capacity to process 60,000-lb., high-strength, coated and bare carbon steel coils in gauges from 0.015 to 0.250 in.

Features include constant line speed line tension, automation, remote troubleshooting diagnostics and program updates, a two-head slitter with 60-sec. head change, threadless CloverNut tooling lock-up, nonmarking Duplex Tensioner with 60-sec. wet/dry roll change, 60-sec. strip separator change, shape-correction Cluster Leveler™ with automatic setup, 2-min. recoiler drum diameter change, and adjustable centerline overarm separator.
