Carpenter Technology combines AM capabilities with Samuel, Son & Co.

Carpenter Technology Corp., a producer and distributor of specialty alloys, powder metals, and specialty wire for additive manufacturing (AM) in Philadelphia, and Samuel, Son & Co., a Mississauga, Ont.-based provider of metal manufacturing, processing, and distribution services, have announced a strategic alliance to provide end-to-end supply chain services for the AM marketplace.

Samuel’s recent purchase agreement with AM designer and developer Burloak Technologies provides an opportunity for Carpenter and Samuel to offer AM systems from concept to delivery.
