Commercial Metals names chairman
Commercial Metals Co., Irving, Texas, has announced that Barbara Smith, the company's president/CEO, will become the chairman of the board effective Jan. 11, 2018. Joseph Alvarado, CMC's current chairman, will be retiring from the board.
Commercial Metals Co. and its subsidiaries manufacture, recycle, and market steel and metal products, related materials, and services.
