DeWys Mfg. adds Stainless Solutions business unit

DeWys Mfg. Inc., Marne, Mich., has added a new business unit dedicated to the production of stainless steel and aluminum parts. DeWys’ Stainless Solutions will offer products fabricated from various grades of stainless steel and aluminum up to 0.250 in. thick, including laboratory furniture, medical equipment, energy enclosures, battery enclosures, retail displays, vending machines, testing equipment, and food processing and commercial equipment.

The firm is completing a 35,000-sq.-ft. building expansion with space for a new Lissmac deburring machine, as well as a 4,000-W laser; insertion machine; finishing booth; Amada 170-ton press brake; Surfox passivation machine; and weld booth comprising GMAW, GTAW, and resistance welding.
