Flack Global Metals and Kenwood Painted Metals announce merger

Flack Global Metals, which fulfills supply chains for OEMs using flat-rolled steel, aluminum, and stainless, and painted metal supplier Kenwood Painted Metalshave announced the merger of their companies.

Jeremy K. Flack retains his position as CEO of Flack Global Metals, and Greg Underwood, president of Kenwood Painted Metals, joins the company as executive vice president.

The two companies share an asset-light business model, forgoing physical assets in favor of developing flexibility and geographic reach. Both companies work primarily with OEMs in transportation, automotive, HVAC, construction, doors, and lighting.

Based in Cleveland, Flack has added Kenwood’s Olympia Fields, Ill., and Atlanta offices to its existing locations in Chicago; Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Columbia, S.C.
