Flack Global Metals, First American Resources open coil coating, metal processing facility

Flack Global Metals, Chicago, and First American Resources, Atlanta, have announced plans to develop a new coil coating and metal processing facility in Athens, Ga. It also will include in-line tension leveling, clean room/clean-surface capability, continuous optical surface monitoring, a high-speed slitting line, embossing, cut-to-length, and inspection.

The facility will be qualified and ready for initial trials in May/June 2018.

Flack Global Metals designs and fulfills supply chains for OEMs using flat-rolled steel, aluminum, and stainless. First American Resources supplies decorative and functional coating systems primarily to the domestic residential building products and automotive markets.
