Industrial Metal Supply announces administrative changes

Raw metals distributor Industrial Metal Supply Co., Sun Valley, Calif., has announced that David Pace has been named president. He has been with the company for 23 years, serving as COO since 2004.

Pace, who began his industry training at Ryerson Steel, is well-versed in metal industry practices, including an extensive sales and operational background. He also has held leadership positions with the Metals Service Center Institute and currently serves on the Aluminum Council.

Dave Cohen will assume the COO role immediately. He joined the company in 1995 as a sales manager and was promoted to general manager of the Phoenix branch within five years. In 2014 he was promoted to senior vice president of business development.

Concurrent to Pace's appointment, Eric Steinhauer, president of IMS since 1993, has accepted the position of vice chairman. In this newly formed role, Steinhauer will assist the management team and sit on the board of advisers.
