JSW to expand facilities, says CEO

JSW Steel USA, a producer of hot-rolled plates and pipes, plans to invest $1 billion in its Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Baytown, Texas, facilities, according to president/CEO John Hritz.

Hritz told CNBC that the company will hire more than 1,000 people and credits the Trump administration’s recent steel tariffs for spurring the expansion.
