Materion appoints VP of global operations

Materion Corp., Mayfield Heights, Ohio, has announced the appointment of Marc Rands to the newly created position of vice president, global operations. He joins the company from Honeywell International Inc., where he served as vice president, integrated supply chain for Honeywell UOP.

Rands is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Materion Corp., through its wholly owned subsidiaries, supplies highly engineered materials including specialty metals, inorganic chemicals and powders, specialty coatings, specialty engineered beryllium alloys, beryllium and beryllium composites, and engineered clad and plated metal systems.
