Users of the database at https://matmatch.com/ can research and compare materials by filtering on their physical, chemical, and thermal characteristics.

The database allows for the comparison of metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites based on form, material properties, and potential applications. The company’s in-house materials scientists compile and verify the data on the site—obtained from such sources as licensed academic and corporate material databases—to help ensure that information provided by suppliers is accurate.
