Metal My Way talent contest launches

Metal Supermarkets, a supplier of small-quantity metals based in Mississauga, Ont., has launched its ninth annual Metal My Way contest. The contest provides an opportunity for metal professionals and hobbyists to showcase their creativity through inventive projects.

From July 1-31, entrants can submit a photo or video of their metal for a chance to win one of eight prizes. Two grand-prize winners for best overall projects will receive a Kama EV 88 portable benchtop band saw. Six category winners will receive a Husky 46-in., nine-drawer mobile workbench with solid wood top. The categories are vehicle projects, artistic and design projects, furniture and home projects, industrial or shop projects, knives projects, and student projects.

The contest is sponsored by Kama, Cosen Saws, Space Aid Mfg., and OMAX, with Metal Supermarkets as the title sponsor.
