Mill Steel expands footprint with new Midwest facility

Mill Steel Co., a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based flat-rolled steel and aluminum supplier, has purchased a 90,000-sq.-ft. facility in Mansfield, Ohio.

The new location is equipped with a 72-in. Pro Eco slitting line, a 60-in. Paxson slitting line, and a 50-ft.-deep looping pit for surface-critical material processing. The company plans to add cut-to-length processing capabilities as well.

The facility is located for ease of access by rail and interstate and neighbors Cleveland-Cliffs Mansfield Works.
