Olympic Steel names regional vice president

Olympic Steel Inc., a national metals service center, has promoted Thomas J. Sacco to regional vice president. He joined the company in 1994 in operations before transitioning to the commercial group. He progressed through several roles with increasing responsibility, including inside and outside sales representative and divisional sales and logistics manager, before being promoted to regional sales manager in 2013.

Sacco was promoted again in 2016 to his most recent position as general manager, Minnesota Coil Division. In his new role, Sacco retains his general manager responsibilities and assumes oversight responsibility for the Minnesota Plate operations. He also oversees the company’s warehouse facility in Quincy, Wash.
