Quintus Technologies installs hot isostatic press at Accurate Brazing
Sweden-based Quintus Technologies has installed a model QIH 122 M URC hot isostatic press at Accurate Brazing, a heat-treating provider in Goffstown, N.H. The press, installed at its Greenville, S.C., facility, offers a work zone of 26 in. dia. and 68.9 in. high. It operates at a maximum temperature of 2,552 degrees F and a maximum pressure of 30,000 PSI.
The press is equipped with proprietary uniform rapid cooling (URC), which combines hot isostatic pressing and heat treatment in a single process.
