Reliance acquires MidWest Materials

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Reliance Inc. has announced its acquisition of the outstanding equity interests of MidWest Materials Inc., a flat-rolled steel service center in Perry, Ohio.

MidWest Materials provides hot-rolled, high-strength hot-rolled, coated, and cold-rolled steel products for the trailer manufacturing, agriculture, metal fabrication, and building products markets. The current management team will remain in place.

Reliance Inc. is a metals service center company with a network of more than 315 locations in 40 states and 12 countries outside of the U.S.
