Sandvik invests in metal powder plant
Sandvik has announced plans to invest about $25 million in a new plant for manufacturing titanium and nickel fine metal powders.
The facility will be located in Sandviken, Sweden, near the company’s in-house titanium raw material supply and the center for additive manufacturing. It is expected to be operational by 2020.
